Cyber Essentials is a government-backed, industry supported scheme to help organisations protect themselves against common cyber attacks.
The process is simple - pay for your assessment and complete the on-line self-assessment questionnaire. Our certification team will then assess your responses and issue you with your CES certificate if you pass. Once you are certified you will also receive free cyber insurance.
This self-assessment option gives you protection against a wide variety of the most common cyber attacks. This is important because vulnerability to simple attacks can mark you out as target for more in-depth unwanted attention from cyber criminals and others.
Certification gives you peace of mind that your defences will protect against the vast majority of common cyber attacks simply because these attacks are looking for targets which do not have the Cyber Essentials technical controls in place.
The process of obtaining Cyber Essentials Certification is simple and costs £300. Organisations assess themselves against five basic security controls and a qualified assessor verifies the information provided. The Cyber Essentials self-assessments are available through a secure hosted platform powered by the Cyber Essentials assessment platform. The assessments can be accessed and answered quickly and easily using Pervade’s intuitive user interface.
